Welcome to Davey Defense LLC (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including firearms training courses, Minnesota Permit to Carry classes, and any associated content, materials, and websites (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be legally eligible to possess a firearm under Minnesota and federal law.
  • Provide truthful, complete, and accurate information during registration.

You are responsible for ensuring you meet all eligibility criteria for a Minnesota Permit to Carry under Minn. Stat. § 624.714.

2. Services Provided

We provide firearms safety and training courses, including:

  • Minnesota Permit to Carry (Concealed Carry) classes
  • Renewal classes
  • Multi-state certification add-ons

Completion of our training program does not guarantee issuance of a permit. Final determination is made by the appropriate county sheriff’s office.

3. User Conduct

By using our Services, you agree that you will not:

  • Violate any local, state, or federal laws or regulations;
  • Misrepresent your identity, criminal history, or legal status regarding firearm ownership;
  • Disrupt class proceedings or jeopardize the safety of others;
  • Use our Services for unlawful purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion, particularly in cases of safety concerns or fraudulent behavior.

4. Payment and Refund Policy

  • All course fees must be paid in full before class attendance unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Cancellations made 48 hours prior to class may be eligible for rescheduling or a partial refund, at our discretion.
  • No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
  • If we cancel or reschedule a class, you will be offered a full refund or a rescheduled class at no additional charge.

5. Assumption of Risk

By participating in our courses, you acknowledge that:

  • Firearms training involves inherent risks, including physical injury or death;
  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with firearm handling and training;
  • You will follow all safety instructions provided by certified instructors at all times.

6. Privacy

We collect personal information necessary for course registration and state reporting. We do not sell or share your information except as required by law or with your express consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All training materials, content, videos, and branding are the property of Davey Defense LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Davey Defense LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our Services, including injury, legal issues, or permit denial.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sibley County, Minnesota.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
