Davey Defense | Permit to Carry Training Policies

These are the rules. They keep the classes running smooth and protect both the student and the instructor. Read them before coming to your session.

Payment is due in full at the time of the training session, payable in cash, Venmo, or another approved electronic method. No checks.
For travel classes that require more than one hour of driving, advance payment is required to secure the date.

Once administrative paperwork starts at the range, the training session is considered in progress.

No refunds once training has begun, including sessions that end early due to serious safety violations or range policy violations.
Students who prepay for travel classes and cancel within the agreed window may be eligible for a refund, less any travel related expenses already incurred.
If a sheriff office denies your permit after successful completion of training, that decision is outside the control of Davey Defense.
No refunds will be issued for sheriff denials.

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your class.
No shows with no communication may be refused future bookings.
If Davey Defense cancels a class due to weather, instructor availability, or any other issue, you will be offered the next available session.

For classes that require significant travel, full prepayment is required.
Travel classes are nonrefundable unless cancelled by the instructor.
If Davey Defense cancels a travel class, you may choose a full refund or to reschedule to another available date.

We respect and appreciate those who serve, but we do not offer discounts on Permit to Carry classes.
