Lesson 8.3: Loaded Chamber Carry

At Davey Defense, defensive carry means the pistol is properly loaded, properly holstered, and carried with discipline. Empty chamber carry adds a required step under stress, and time, distance, ability, and space may not allow that step. Safety comes from the full system: proper firearm, proper holster, protected trigger, safe handling, and disciplined practice. If you are not ready to carry with a round in the chamber, build readiness before carrying for defense.
